The Twittersphere has been under attack for the freedom it offers so-called "trolls" - people (mainly men) who send threatening messages to others, especially women.

What can be done about this growing problem? Is introducing new laws the answer?

Social commentator and futurist Mal Fletcher provided an interesting insight in a BBC Radio interview.
