CCVA Church Lisbon Powers Ahead
The CCVA (Abundant Life Christian Centre) Church in Lisbon, Portugal is moving boldly into a new era of engagement and growth.
The church recently celebrated its 15th anniversary and invited Mal Fletcher as keynote speaker for its Sunday celebration.
The church was pioneered by Pastor Joao Cardoso, a good friend of Next Wave International. Pastor Joao has followed a call to Angola, where he is pioneering new streams of outreach and church life.
The CCVA church is now headed by the gifted Pastor Joao Pedro Robalo and his wife Irene - and the signs of new vision and strategy are clear.
After his visit, Mal Fletcher said: 'This was the first church I visited in Portugal quite some time ago now. It was wonderful to return and see firsthand the planning that is going into seeing a new level of community service and influence for this church.'
The church is also the central reference point for a network of 20 other churches, led by Joao Cardoso, across Portugal.
