Cross Rhythms U.K.
One of the U.K.'s finest Christian music festivals, Cross Rhythms attracts a broad cross- section of people every year.
Held in the south of England, the event focusses on bringing people not only quality performances from gifted artists, but real ministry in worship and the word of God, which in some ways - sadly - sets it apart from some other festivals.
Mal Fletcher took part as one of the key speakers this year and was able to speak into the life of the event from years of experience as a leader. Music ministers like David Evans and David Reidy from Australia, with their bands, brought a real prophetic element into the worship.
On his last day at the event, Mal shared a prophetic word with the leader of the event to the effect that the event had real financial needs and that God was about to meet them in an unexpected way. This was fulfilled just a few hours later when David Evans made an unexpected appeal for finance during a worship set, and money came flowing in.
Cross Rhythms Festival, the vision of broadcaster Chris Cole, is administered by Jonathan Bellamy and run by a large team of volunteers. Part of the event was covered live on TV via the GOD channel.

I am so thankful that I was directed towards Mal's article on Why Christian Minister's Fall. Thankyou, Mal, for such Godly insight & wisdom into how we should be reacting to such situations.

Re the Bridgend suicides: This is a horrible tragedy for this town. The promise and excitement these young people have missed of college, getting married, children, having a career, being a grandparent, traveling the world... Where is the parental involvement in all this?

Mal, did you start out as a journalist? You are one of the most naturally gifted writers whose works I have had the pleasure of reading. I just love your succinct way of delivering words that paint a captivating picture.
