A Church Filled with Bravehearts!
The original Braveheart was not William Wallace, but Jesus Christ. He was the true bringer of 'Freedom'!
Today, there's a great church springing up near to where Wallace was born. The Covenant Life Church, led by Pastor Andrew Owen, is now over 300 strong - and heaving with young adults, students and basically creative-type people.
The church was started a few years back with just 5 university students. Recently, the church bought an old Church of Scotland building and is about to renovate it. The building will seat 1000 people seated - a great next step for a church that is destined to provide a model for Scotland!
Mal Fletcher was guest speaker at the church in May and said afterwards: 'This is a group of people who really know how to worship, and how to receive the Word of God. They're fun to be with - and full of faith. I know God is raising this church up as an example of what he can do in the land of Braveheart.'
