UK Church Leaders Meet for Major Conference
Church leaders from across the UK met recently for the Ground Level Leaders Conference 2003. Over 400 leaders attended this event which is run as part of the vision of the Ground Level church network under the leadership of Stuart Bell.
The network, which started small just a few years ago, is now providing a relational covering for many churches across the UK and beyond. The annual summer conference run by the Ground Level team brings together up to 10,000 people from many nations.
The ministry at the recent leaders conference was brought by Stuart Bell, Jack Groblewski (USA), Duane White (USA) and Steve Chalke (UK).
Chris Bowater, one of the true pioneers of Christian worship music in the UK, led musicians from across the network in powerful times of worship.
Elliott Tepper, head of Betel Ministries worldwide, was a surprise guest at the conference. Betel runs drug rehabilitation centres whose ethos features church-planting. The conference ended with report from ex-addicts who shared their stories of freedom.
The focus of the conference allowed for fellowship, friendship and relationship building, together with a focus towards making a difference in local communities.
The Ground Level network of churches is a Core Partner in Next Wave's mission across Europe. We are very grateful for their ongoing generous support!
Mal Fletcher says, 'Stuart and the entire Ground Level team are a great blessing to us. Their positive attitude toward our mission and their ongoing financial support have made a great difference in what we've been able to accomplish. I urge all of our partners and friends to pray for Stuart and the team, and for all the churches they're now covering in the UK.'

I'm 21 & I'd just like to say what an excellent programme you've created, in EDGES. In a world where image is everything, a lack of excellence often distracts people from the main point.

We've all been affected to some degree by this latest news of terrorist activity. Yet what an opportunity to share the GOOD news with those who are looking for answers!

Mal, I so enjoy your teachings. Europe truly is the dark continent.
