Hillsong London
If you think church is outdated or past-its-prime, you definitely have NOT visited the Hillsong Church in London!
This church is high-energy and high-impact, with a very down-to-earth approach to people. Mal Fletcher, a regular visitor to the church, preached there early in February. 'The church is growing at a rapid rate right now,' he reports. 'Gary and Cathy Clarke and their leadership team have created a culture where people expect the very best in their service for God. People's lives are being radically transformed week by week. What's more, they're more process than event-minded, which means people's lives are being built up every week.'
Between 1500 and 2000 people come to services on any given Sunday (up from around 500 just one year ago). The standard of excellence in presentation, combined with high-impact worship and practical preaching, have all ensured that Hillsong, London is set for much more growth in the years ahead. My son is 21 months old & has full Edward's Syndrome. He is a happy, beautiful child & gives so much to so many people. His life is as worthy as any other child. I believe the medical profession should help parents to want to give their children a chance of survival.

Your article about Daniel in Babylon is spot on. As 21st Century Christians our challenge is to find appropriate forums to join the conversation & refrain from adopting a defensive posture.

I think yours was the best and most succinct critique I've yet read on 'The Da Vinci Code'. As you say, we can still use it as a platform for presenting the real gospel.
