Next Wave International™ is a faith-based communications group >which is training organizations to engage the future & move society forward in a positive direction. Founder / Director: Mal Fletcher
Last week, the team recorded Mal's pieces to camera, which drive each of the documentaries, on two hot issues: 'Human Trafficking: The New Slavery' and 'Youth Violence and Gangs'.
The latter was filmed in Peckham, London, which some are calling 'England's Bronx' because of a long list of youth murders over the past few years, including the infamous case of Damilola Taylor.
(Read Mal's Social Comment editorial on youth violence - click here.)
Meanwhile, other segments in production include the ever popular vox pops, expert interviews, 'around-the-table' and more.
Production now takes place in four nations of the world and the full series of ten half-hour magazine documentaries will take more than ten months to complete.
The series is slated for completion at the end of September 2008, which means it will likely hit TV screens (and the web) early in 2009.

I often check out your recommended reading section, which includes some excellent books. There's a new title which I highly recommend: 'Simply Christian' by N.T. (Tom) Wright (Bishop of Durham)... Ann, Australia
God is true to His word. [Recently] it seemed as though I faced an entire mountain range. A friend blessed me with the Next Wave site. God bless you Mal and all the saints who knit your ministry together. On to massive revival in Europe. Robert, Germany
Thank you for such wonderful and heartfelt words about John Paul II. He stood and still stands for all that is good, and his "Voice for Life and Hope" will resound forever. Gloria, United States
