NWI: MasterClass Comes Alive In Spain
What do you get when you bring together 45 church and ministry leaders from various corners of Spain and introduce them to world-class communications training, in a hi-tech media package?
You get MasterClass Spain 2005!
This first Next Wave International™ MasterClass in Spain – and the first in southern Europe – was an outstanding success according to reports already coming in via event organizer, Juanito Jonson, senior pastor of the Palabras de Poda Church.
'From the first session,' said Juanito, 'We could see from the enthusiastic reaction of the leaders that they had never experienced anything like MasterClass before.'
'The response was so positive and people literally can't wait for the next MasterClass in Spain.'
Spain's famous Costa del Sol has long had a reputation for sunny beaches and holiday fever, but it is also the home of a growing Christian presence, and the base of a network of churches sprinkled across Spain.
For two days, Mal Fletcher introduced the leaders to the latest in communications theory and practical skills. The training also covered an introduction to the use of established and emerging media, including TV and the net.
After the event, Mal said, 'This was another Next Wave International™ pioneer experience. The exciting thing for me was to see how quickly these hungry leaders adapted to the fast pace and substantial content we were throwing at them.'
Plans are already in formation for the next MasterClass in Spain in 2006 – possibly over two cities, in the north and the south.
Watch the MasterClass Online website, for more on this. Soon, you will also be able to hear samples of the material presented in Spain – with Spanish language translation.
Check the site, too, for news about other MasterClass events scheduled for 2005, across Europe and Australia: www.masterclassonline.com.

Mal spoke at Hillsong Church, Paris team meeting yesterday & I was so challenged to look beyond my limitations & tap into the unlimited power of God to make a difference in Paris. Thanks Mal! for being such a great vessel for the body of Christ.

Hi Mal, Re: megachurch church vs a more organic model: I know God works regardless of how we think he should but it seems that the organic way is more appealing to the average person than the marketing of Jesus...

Mal, great article on the leader of Britain's army. I was having the same discussion earlier today, came to my PC and found you backed up everything I had said! Keep up the incredible work!
