France's Churches on the Move

19 March 2007

France has openly declared itself a secular nation. Its politicians have proudly spoken of the nation's place as the leading secular voice in Europe.

Many people will assume, in the light of this, that the church in France is dead.

Nothing could be further from the truth, as Mal Fletcher discovered again on a visit to an international pastor's conference held recently in Grenoble.

The conference brought together around 500 pastors and leaders of charismatic churches from across France and Switzerland.

The event this year focused on the church of the future and Mal's insights into 'the church of 2020' were greatly appreciated.

The leadership hopes to have Mal visit this conference again to continue the investment into the lives of these French leaders who are hungry for change and growth -- not just in the size of churches, but in their influence in cities.

Please pray for the growth, prosperity and influence of churches across France.
